Submission Guidelines
Important Notes for Authors
1. Cell Line Use: Manuscripts based on a single cell line are not acceptable for publication. Please avoid submitting studies relying on only one cell line.
2. Raw Data Submission: For research articles involving Western blots, it is recommended to provide all raw data images during the revision stage or upon editorial request. These should be submitted as supplementary files (preferably in a single PDF) along with the corresponding figure legends.
3. Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to make genomic and transcriptomic data publicly available before acceptance or as soon as possible.
4. Ethical Approval: Experimental research involving humans or animals must be approved by the relevant institutional review board or ethics committee, with the approval number and committee name provided. Research involving human subjects must adhere to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
5. Submission Format: Cell Investigation is flexible regarding the format of initial submissions. Style and length will not directly influence manuscript consideration. No specific structure is required at first submission. If revisions are needed, the manuscript must comply with the journal’s formatting requirements. However, it is recommended to follow best practices to ensure the accessibility and impact of your manuscript.

Cell Investigation strives to publish original research findings that are of great significance or broad conceptual or technical advances in all areas of life sciences such as molecular and cell biology etc. The journal has an international authorship and a broad scope including basic experimental and translational research and clinical trial. The journal aims to providing a premier platform for disseminating cutting-edge research in the rapidly evolving field of normal and tumoral biology.
We seek studies that present advanced conceptions, methodologies, or technics that push the boundaries of scientific understanding in any areas of life sciences, including (but not limited to) the following topics:
· Cell Homeostasis and Stress
· Cell Metabolism
· Cell Senescence and Aging
· Cell Death
· Cell Signalling
· Cell Modulation and Manipulation
· Cell-Based Drug Development, Screening, and Toxicology
· Cell-Based Therapies and Translational Studies
· Cancer Biology & Microbiome
· Stem Cell and Cellular Differentiation
· Neuroscience
· Immunity
· Molecular & Cell Biology
· Molecular Genetics & Epigenetics
· Omics & Systems Biology
· Bionanotechnology
· Artificial Intelligence in Health Care
The journal welcomes original research articles, letters, reviews, short communications, comments, and methodological papers that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in these areas. By providing a focused and inclusive platform, the journal aims to catalyze progress in life sciences.
Peer Review
The journal employs anonymous peer review. Manuscripts are initially assessed by the editors. Those that meet the journal’s requirements will be sent for independent review by at least two reviewers. The final decision on acceptance or rejection is made by the editor and is final. All manuscripts undergo editorial office review; those that do not meet the journal’s basic standards will be rejected without review.
